Parish Centre

St Richard's Parish Club was built in 1985 on the site of the old primary school. The Jubilee Hall was built as a memorial to Canon Almond a former priest.
Our parish centre is a lively place with very good facilities. It boasts a large, recently refurbished concert room which doubles as a function room (Jubilee Hall), a well-stocked (and reasonably priced ) bar, a kitchen, comfortable lounge and games room. Their are facilities and easy access for the disabled.
Numerous activities take place here both for members and the general community. For members there is a snooker table, darts and dominoes.
The snooker team are the B.T.A. League knockout winners for 2000.

There are weekly dances (Sunday) and bingo (Monday).
More generally there are monthly meetings of W.I. Heritage, fishing club, swimming club and golf club.
