Vote for the
Common Good
The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales have issued a statement in
advance of the General Election called 'Vote for the Common Good'. The
intention is to provide some reflections on the Church's social teaching.
Copies are available at the back of Church today and each household
is invited to take one. It is available on the internet on
www.catholic-ew.org.uk
Please note - The Bishops are not telling people how to vote but are
asking people to look at the social teaching of the church and how they
relate to the issues facing society today.
