In the boxes of envelopes distributed to parishioners for this year,
5 white envelopes have been added with your box number. These envelopes
have been added for those who can Gift Aid the money they give. If you
want a Mass said or give a donation towards flowers these envelopes
can be used and the parish can reclaim Tax on this money as well as
the money you give on a weekly basis. This is the difference between
the old Covenant Scheme and Gift Aid. Now tax can be reclaimed on all
occasional monies given for Masses, Stole Fees, Flowers and any extra
donations to the parish.

St Richard's 'Garden Party' Parish Social
Friday 30th March 7.30 pm St Richard's Parish Centre.
Tickets on Sale after Masses, £1 each.
We are starting to plan the Garden Party early this year, to give
parishioners the opportunity to be more involved if they want to. At
the Social there will be lists of Garden Party jobs which will need
doing, and we want people to volunteer themselves for the part which
best suits them - from stallholders, to ticket sellers, to goafers.
There is also the chance for suggestions if someone has a bright idea
of their own. If you have always done the same job and want to continue
to do it, then put your name on that job. If you want a change, - change!
Please don't assume you'll do the same as always, because if your name
isn't there, we will think you don't want to do that job this year.
You must put claim to your spot ! AND we want everyone to have a pleasant
evening of chat and catching up with friends, have a pastie, have a
drink, a game of Bingo . . . a free and easy night out.
Seeyou there, Christine.
