Sunday
1st Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Today's Gospel: Luke 9: 51 - 62
Call
to Faith : We are called to follow Jesus. We are called to give
commitment to this enterprise with all that that means. It's a call
to action. It's a challenge that requires our attention, our energy,
and our wholehearted involvement. Exploring Gospel Values :
Do you ever get involved in an enterprise that takes time, energy,
and commitment ? eg keeping tropical fish; joining a committee; sports
or dance groups; further education; charitable work ? What do these
enterprises require ? - Attention, organisation, action, commitment.
Is there a local voluntary enterprise that impresses you for the commitment
shown by the people in it ?

its thanks to the Parish Centre for their support and sponsorship
that they have given to help toward a month long tour of Australia which
begins on Thursday. The team hope that this time in Australia will be
a great learning experience and may help in building the foundations
