The Pilgrimage Trust are looking for collectors to stand outside Maine
Road (Man. City) Football Ground on Saturday November 3rd. If you can
spare a couple of hours, please contact Joe Roberts 01942 818852.
Have
a gander !! . .
This week the Parish Club Lounge was decorated and painted. The games
room lighting has been renewed and the area repainted and the parish
hall has also had a lick of paint and the chairs have been replaced
with new ones. These renewals ensure that the centre continues to provide
a high standard of decor and comfort for members and their visitors.
All this and we haven't put up the prices! good ambience, the best of
company and cheap beer! The works of art in the lounge area is provided
from a selection of pupil's work by St Mary's School and also from St
Richard's students. I am very proud of the work that is displayed, they
generate a focus for comment and this helps to create an atmosphere
of culture and style that is totally unique. If you haven't visited
in a while do drop in and let us know what you think. Fr Steve

Liturgy of the Word

Saturday 1st December from 2 pm - 5 pm at St Gabriel's Parish Centre
there is an 'In-service Training' Day with an Advent theme. This session
is intended for all who are connected or help with Children's Liturgy.

Fathers Ronny, Dave and myself now have regular team meetings at St Richard's on Tuesday at 10 am. These are essentially planning meetings that will enable us to sort out Mass times and workload for the coming week and to discuss issues arising. These meetings are scheduled to last for one hour.
