Key Idea
Jesus says the dishonest steward put a lot of energy into his dishonest affairs.
Jesus says good people (the children of light) need to put a lot of energy into their good affairs. Exploring the Word of God Who did the rich man have in charge of his property? What did the rich man hear? What was going to happen to the servant who managed the property? What did the dishonest manager plan to do? How did he carry out his plan? What arrangements did he make with the people who owed his master money? How was the dishonest servant very shrewd in dealing with his problems?
Jesus said that the dishonest servant put a lot of energy into handling his dishonest affairs. According to Jesus, what should good people be using their energy on?
Why did Jesus call good people those 'who belong to the light'? Exploring Gospel Values What are your plans for enjoying half term holidays ? What are your plans for enjoying next weekend ? What is your favourite hobby? What are your plans for developing your hobby? If you fall out with someone, what plan do you usually follow for making up?
Call to Faith

We are called to put energy into the way we live. We are called to put energy into following Jesus. We are called to put energy into making choices for Jesus. We are called to be children of the light.
