Notices

November Pious Lists
A box is provided this week for your Pious List envelopes. The lists will then be collected together and masses said for those named. An offering can be placed in the envelope.

BONFIRE NIGHT
Sadly, the Health and Safety issues, plus the need for insurance, has made bonfires and firework displays a matter for professional Pyrotechnical Display Companies. The site of our bonfire and fairly loose safety arrangements means that an accident is likely at some stage, and so it is with regret that from this year, I will not now be building and lighting bonfires, or setting off fireworks in a public way.

Support Welcomed
A great deal of sympathy and suggestions have been offered this week with regard to our recent spate of burglaries in the Parish House. Fr Ron particularly liked the ³Break-In² biscuits which were left for us (not by the burglars . . ) on the Dining Room table; the consuming of which has cheered him up no end!! So thanks for all the advice and offers of help we have received.
